Step back over 500 years at Firwood Fold, the charming hamlet of former farm workers' cottages. The Fold, given its name for the beautiful woodland which surrounds it, has buildings which date back to the early 16th century, with number 15 reputed to be the oldest inhabited building in Bolton.
