Chemo Mums was founded in 2007 by Lesley Bennison:
"I am able to speak from personal experience fpollowing my diagnosis of breast cancer and subsequent chemotheray. in 2004/2005.
I realise how much support families need, in particular with child care issues duirng treatment. It's a time when mums are not only incapacitated by chemotherapy, but are faced with one of the most psychologically and physically challenging times of their lives. To date, no home support service exists to help at this desperate time.
With the approoriate funding, help and support, Chemo Mums can make a difference.
