Before the treatment begins the therapist takes measurements from the upper and lower arm, chest, waist, hips, thigh and lower leg. Once the measurements are recorded the wrapping begins. Your whole body is then wrapped in 25-30 elasticated bandages that have been pre-soaked in a warm, mineral-rich clay solution. Once the bandages are on you are given a suit to wear which is made from a rubbery material. With the suit is on, its time to relax and let the clay work its magic.
I was left for around an hour sat up on bed with an electric blanket to keep me warm. It was great to just relax. I had some magazines too and so the time passed quickly.
